Beagle Dog Breed Information
The Beagle breed is one of the most familiar breeds in the world. Breed of Beagle has existed for hundreds of years and Beagles descend from hounds used in packs by hunters on foot in England, Wales and France. The beagle is best known for rabbit hunting, although the breed also has been used to hunt animals as diverse as jackals and wild pigs. Although some beagles are still used individually or in packs for hunting, most beagles today are lovable house pets.

Features & General Appearance
Beagles are medium sized hounds which stand between 13 and 16 inches high at the shoulder and weighs no more than 15 kilos. The main colors are, black, brown & white (tricolor) some are tan or lemon and white or various colors of mottle. Beagle was originally bred for hunting rabbits, and today Beagles are normally sociable, mischievous, healthy and delightful members of families.
Beagles are smart, affectionate, curious, friendly and playful. They are real family pets because of their size, groom ability, and easy going nature with children. Beagles are full of energy, and benefit from an active family.
Beagle Dog Breed
are muscular, solid dogs with a slightly domed skull. Their muzzle is squares and the nose broad. Ears are long and droopy. Their chest is deep, back is straight and they have a moderately long tail that is carried high. The breed’s smooth, dense coat is usually black, tan, and white.
